I've been on house of praise since last year, its amazing to get every Sunday great message, even been part of littler groups, I trust in God, enjoy to church and get the experience that I had. Praise the Lord. God is not dead. God is love 1 John 4:8
Great first impression, but with time one can see this church is extremely off the mark when it comes to loving people and serving their world; which, ironically is their motto. If you don't fit the mold, this church is not for you. Unfortunately, the leadership, which is nepotistic by nature, is very prejudiced and only chooses to use certain ethnicities for leadership and outwardly visible roles. If you are not of the "correct" ethnicity and or status, you will be denied opportunity to serve and join certain small groups. Sanctification is also not preached. Young adult leaders who volunteer with teens/other young adults can be found modeling in lingerie fashion shows on the weekends and routinely showing up to church wildly hungover. No one addresses this behavior in love. True love cares enough to confront. Not to mention, praise and worship is a pre-scripted and choreographed production every week. All about showmanship and not authentic. This church needs to straighten out its internal affairs before it can adequately reach out and be a light in its own community. Until this is done, the revolving door of members leaving, just as new members join, will continue. It may be best to visit a few neighboring churches before committing to this one.
