Manager, Kim, was extremely unhelpful and arrogant. She refused to allow a troop leader to back order uniforms to avoid the high shipping costs, although it would have been super easy for her to collect the money and call when the shipment came in. A new girl scout troop has limited funds to begin with; shipping charges are outrageous. Aren't some of the girl scout laws to be fair? considerate? caring? helpful? I'm second guessing this organization.
I walked in clueless to what was needed as a first-time girlscout mom. What my daughter would need, how things worked and had a million questions. Not only did the kind lady there help us immediately, she made my timid daughter feel comfortable and welcome. She took her time and was very knowledgeable. She even made us a copy of some required forms for troop participation (we didn't realize we needed and otherwise would have had to print at home). Needless to say, my happy scout and I have returned here time and again. This shops keeper has been with the scouts for quite sometime and is truly an asset to the organization. Thank you!!!!!!
